Also comes with XLR cable, so you can buy an additional XLR male to male cable if you need to connect the cable to a mixer for example or use an adapter.I also bought the model Shure 8900W and the model C606W is better.I have 3 pieces.

What happen was i bought another microphone here, that works not so great, and the price was way higher. That is how i decided to give this product a shot, and luckily, it works way better than expected. i no longer has to shout to record voice or talk on skype. The stand that comes with it is helpful, it looks really cute and mini, but the voice is crystal clear and loud. Looking at the price, i m really surprise of the quality of the voice that comes out, even at high pitch it works fine, if anyone is looking for a microphone for pc, i really hope u don't miss it.

(More customer reviews)I've been a semi-pro musician & sound guy for about 25 years, and have used a lot of mics. EVs, AKGs, various condensers, and of course, the venerable Shure SM-57s, 58s, and the "Beta" series.

The Nady SP-5 is a no-brainer for 10 bucks. It's not a Shure Beta 58, but for $10, you're going to be hard pressed to do better. Sound is full and punchy with vocals, just like it should be with a good dynamic mic, feedback rejection is good, and it's built well, too. It's a pretty good mic, and not just "for the money". I'd say quality-wise, it's comparable to the Peavey & Shure mics in the $40-$60 range.

Of course the king of the budget mics is the Behringer XM8500. These are the equal to a Shure Beta 58, (a $150 mic) for $20!

Thanks to deals like these, nowadays even the most financially strapped garage band can stock up on decent mics for chump change. I remember only a few yearsago when $10 or $20 would get you a cheap plastic hunk of junk tape recorder mic from Radio Shack or Wal-Mart. How times have changed!

(More customer reviews)I ordered this microphone for my band, and was surprised at its quality for its price. This microphone works great so far. I was not sure about it when I first saw it. However, the feature that bought me was that the cable converts from XLR (end that plugs into mic.) to a 1/4" end. This feature is great because you can plug the microphone into a small amplifier used for guitars and such. Also, you can plug into the "tape/cd" hole. This allows you to play something, i.e guitar, and use the micropone at the same time. I strongly suggest this microphone for aspiring singers. Great buy!
