Very sensitive to ambient noise ... there is no wayto isolate the mic housing from the mic stand, soyou hear a thump from vibration of footsteps, touching the mic stand etc.Good vocalmic but you have to be veryclose toit .. This vintage retro-look styling microphone has advanced state-of-the-art acoustic designperfect for multi-purpose studio, recording, broadcasting, or live performance theater, concert applications.The PCM-200 can be used with any standard mixer, powered mixer/amplifier, or mic preamp.
