(More customer reviews)I have been an Amazon customer since the very beginning and I can truly say this was the worst transaction ever.
PRODUCT: - The system arrived nicely packaged and I was impressed with how much care they took in boxing this up.Unfortunately, this is as far as it went.The microphones have a cheap feel to them - hard to describe but it is there none the less.I plugged the base unit in, attached it to my amp and put fresh batteries in both mic's.Microphone #1 - NO sound at all.Yes it was registering on the base units LED as functioning, but zero sound.Microphone #2 - sound yes, but it had static, popping, sounded scratchy and had a range of about 20 feet.I played around with batteries and made sure that there was nothing blocking the contacts but it failed to make any difference.
SERVICE:Here is where it was really bad.I sent an e-mail requesting a full refund due to defective product and received an RMA #; that's it.I am not paying for return shipping on a defective device so I sent another e-mail which was ignored.A phone call fixed that problem and I was provided with a pre-paid return shipping label.2 weeks passed and still no refund and no replies to my e-mail inquires. 2 additional phone calls were needed to fix this problem and I received a refund, but only for the unit cost - not the original shipping.I had to log a complaint with Amazon to get the shipping money refunded.
CONCLUSION: Poor products happen, but it was clear to me that these units are cheaply made.Poor service is inexcusable.I should not have to work to get a refund on products that was defective right out of the box.All in all it took me 4 e-mails, 3 phone calls and 1 logged complaint with Amazon to rectify this transaction.As I stated - inexcusable.

Check out how I had to work to get their support and then you decide who was the poor communicator.I have asked them to correct this error; we shall see.I will remove this statement when they recant their blatantly false statement.
UPDATE #1 - I just got off the phone with Amazon and had them review this entire transaction and they can also see that Kaito is attempting to cover up their tracks with regard to their poor customer service. Amazon agrees with me that their position above is unfounded and is contacting Kaito to correct this situation.Thank you Amazon!
UPDATE #2 - Amazon regretfully can not alter the published position of Kaito although they agreed with me that Kaito clearly was wrong and lying (based on the documentation that I provided Amazon).They recommended that I contact Kaito and try to get them to edit their position.When I called Kaito to discussed this, they hung up on me without even hearing my position.I called the next day to speak with a manager.This gentleman used a few choice derogatory remarks, told me he did not care if Kaito was wrong or could "care less" that their comments were false and mis-leading.I was then instructed to perform an unnatural act on myself and was then hung up on again.
So much for "customer service".My advise is look elsewhere for a good product from a supplier who actually cares about the quality of their products and the satisfaction of their customers.
